Greetings ~

Way back in 1994, I went to two classic car shows. On July 17, 1994 my wife and I went to Warren, Ohio to attend the Packard Classic Car Meet. This event is held every year to celebrate the Packard family who lived in Warren in the late 1800s through the early 1900s. I always wondered why the Packard family didn't build their automotive factory in Warren. Maybe there wasn't enough people living there to gather the large amount of employees needed. Who knows?

Back in the early 1990s, the car show was held in a small park area on the side lawn of the town hall building. The Packard museum was small as well. Only one car was displayed at that time. But the wife and I had a great time. The weather was sunny and warm so we packed an ice chest and had our picnic lunch at Packard Park, then drove around town and saw some of the sites. Then we attended the car show and went through the museum. The people were great and the day was pleasent.

Back in the 1990s, there were no cell phone cameras or digital cameras. So I had my Polaroid 10-second camera with me. As anyone who knows these cameras can tell you, the pack of film only had eight exposures and cost, at the time, $11.00 a roll. So, needless to say, since my name isn't Rockefeller, I was unable to get a lot of pictures. But I got a good mumber of them.

This blog highlights the photos I took. Plus, as an added attraction, I also attended the 1994 Car Show at Hale Farm and Village in Bath, Ohio. I have a few pictures of that event here also. So, check them all out.
